Technical data

1. Shell Construction: Our drum shells are manufactured from St 37.2 or St 52 grade steel plates, depending on the diameter, or from DIN 2448 standard seamless steel tubes. In order to prevent axial belt drift, the drum surfaces are precision-machined with a 1° taper. Upon request, we can manufacture drums in a wide diameter range from Ø 190 mm to Ø 1400 mm.

2. High-Performance Coverings: For maximum grip in drive units, hot-vulcanized rubber lagging with a hardness of 65 +/- 5 Shore is applied as standard.

3. As an alternative, we also offer industrial ceramic lagging, whose diamond-hard structure provides a service life of up to 10 years. Ceramic surfaces eliminate slippage and belt wear, while significantly improving overall system efficiency.

4. Precision Shafts and Connection Assemblies: Our shafts, manufactured from C1050 and C4140 grade steel, are mounted after full surface machining. The connection between the shaft and the shell is achieved by means of high-strength taper-lock systems (locking bushes) in the range of Ø 40 - Ø 230 mm, ensuring maximum torque transmission.

5. Quality and Protection: All of our products are protected against corrosion by means of industrial paint coatings and protective oils. In addition to the static balancing process applied as standard, we also offer optional dynamic balancing for high-speed systems.
